35:24. ಆಗ ಸೇವಕರು ಯೋಷೀಯನನ್ನು ಅವನಿದ್ದ ರಥದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದಿದ್ದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ರಣರಂಗದಿಂದ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ಸತ್ತದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮತ್ತು ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನ ಜನರು ತುಂಬಾ ಶೋಕಿಸಿದರು.

35:24. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಆ ರಥದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗಿದ್ದ ಎರಡನೇ ರಥ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನವರು ಯೋಷೀಯನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟರು.

35:24. So his servants took him out of the chariot, put him in another chariot that he owned, and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors; all the people of Judah and Jerusalem mourned Josiah.

35:24. So they lifted Josiah out of his chariot and placed him in another chariot. Then they brought him back to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried there in the royal cemetery. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him.

He died there and was buried in the tombs where his ancestors were buried. All the people of Judah and Jerusalem were very sad because Josiah was dead.
